A few screen shots taken from Sun Sports’ broadcast of the game tonight, focusing on Mike Green’s old man celebrating Greenie’s historic goal amongst the other Capitals’ dads on the road trip. What a wonderful sight and memory to cherish.
He sat next to Michal Neuvirth’s father and, with young Michal working through his NHL debut, there was, of course, “plenty of adrenaline” in the seats @ TB between those two gents.

Usually Frustrated Caps Fan
Great pics pepper – nothing like making your dad proud eh, or being a proud dad – those are two pretty universal truths in fun things to do in life. Now they play the Panthers today at 5PM (what’s with that?) Here’s hoping everyone extends their streaks and records and the Caps return from the sunshine state with 4 points before they face the Haps at the Phone Booth on Wednsday night.
LETS GO CAPS!!!!

Capitals Kremlin
That was a great moment, but what I thought was just as great was at the end of the game.
While Joe and Craig were talking about the Dad’s in the post game show, they zoomed to the both with all the Dads. The Dad’s were about to exit but then David Steckel’s pop runs up to the bar where the nuts are, and crams a few more in on television.
Can’t blame him, who doesn’t love some free peanuts!
